Welcome to SIM Owner Location and Details (the "App"), developed and operated by Code Crackers ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Phone Numbers / CNIC Numbers: When you perform a SIM lookup, you enter a phone number or national identity number. This is sent to third-party lookup APIs to retrieve publicly available SIM registration data. We do not permanently store these queries on our servers.

Information stored locally on your device:

• Search History: The App saves your recent search queries and results locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
• Theme & Display Preferences: Your selected theme, dark mode preference, and UI settings are saved locally on your device.
• Disclaimer Acceptance Status: Whether you have accepted the in-app disclaimer is stored locally.

Information collected automatically:

• Advertising Data: Our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data for serving personalized or non-personalized ads. See the Advertisements section below.

Section 03

How We Use Your Information

The information handled by the App is used solely for the following purposes:

• To perform SIM owner lookups based on phone numbers or identity numbers you provide.
• To display your recent search history locally for your convenience.
• To remember your theme, dark mode, and visual effect preferences.
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob to support the free availability of the App.

Section 04

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• SIM Lookup APIs: The App queries external APIs to retrieve publicly available SIM registration information. The phone numbers or identity numbers you enter are transmitted to these APIs over HTTPS. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of these third-party API providers.
• Google AdMob: Used for displaying banner, interstitial, and rewarded video advertisements. Google may collect and process data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Cloud Functions: When configured, the App may route lookup requests through Google Firebase Cloud Functions as a secure middleware layer. Firebase's data handling is governed by the Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Expo / React Native: The App is built using Expo and React Native frameworks. Expo may collect crash analytics if enabled. Refer to the Expo Privacy Policy.

Section 05

Data Storage & Retention

• Local Storage Only: All user preferences and search history are stored exclusively on your device using React Native AsyncStorage. No data is uploaded to remote servers controlled by us.
• Clearing Data: You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's data through your device's Settings > Apps > SIM Owner Location and Details > Clear Data, or by uninstalling the App.
• No Account Required: The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not store any user credentials.

Section 06

Advertisements

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), and other technologies to serve ads relevant to you.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Turn off Personalized Ads

Section 07

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Security

We take the security of your information seriously. All API communications are conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections. However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Right to Access: Request information about the data associated with your use of the App.
• Right to Deletion: Delete all locally stored data by clearing the App data or uninstalling it.
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Stop using the App at any time to cease all data processing.

Since we do not maintain user accounts or collect personal data on our servers, most rights can be exercised directly on your device without needing to contact us.
