Payoneer Fee Calculator

Payoneer Fee Calculator

Stack Upwork/Fiverr, Payoneer receive, PKR withdrawal, FX, and optional FBR 0.25%. Runs in your browser.

You keep
$0.00

Estimate from public Payoneer pricing (1 Jan 2026). Your corridor can differ — check the receipt in Payoneer.

See what you actually keep after Upwork or Fiverr, Payoneer receive fees, a Pakistani bank withdrawal, FX markup, and optional FBR IT-export tax. The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to CodeCrackers.

Use it before you accept a $1,000 Upwork contract, before you hit withdraw to HBL or Meezan, and before you quote a client a “net” rate that still has 10% + FX hiding in it.

How to use this Payoneer fee calculator

  1. Enter the USD amount the client or marketplace will pay.
  2. Pick the platform cut. Upwork 10% is the usual case. New clients can sit at 15%. Fiverr takes 20% on most gigs.
  3. Choose how money enters Payoneer. Upwork and Fiverr marketplace payouts are usually free to receive. A client paying your Payoneer request by card is not.
  4. If you cash out to a Pakistani bank, leave withdrawal on PKR. Paste today’s USD→PKR rate from Google or your bank.
  5. Read the waterfall. The headline number is take-home, not the Payoneer balance.

The withdrawal % and FX markup start at 2% + 2% because that is what Pakistani freelancers commonly report when USD is converted to PKR. Replace those with the line items on your last Payoneer receipt. The official global page does not publish one Pakistan number.

Why a $1,000 Upwork job is not $1,000

People search “Payoneer fee calculator” because Payoneer’s own pricing page is a table, not a stack. Three different companies can take a cut before rupees hit your account:

  1. The marketplace (Upwork 0–15%, Fiverr 20%).
  2. Payoneer, to receive the money (often $0 from a marketplace, up to 3.99% + $0.49 if a client pays by card).
  3. Payoneer again, to send PKR to a local bank, plus a worse exchange rate than the mid-market number you see on Google.

Worked example — $1,000, Upwork 10%, marketplace receive, 2% PKR withdrawal, 2% FX, USD→PKR 280, FBR 0.25% on:

StepUSD
Gross$1,000.00
Upwork 10%−$100.00
Payoneer receive$0.00
Withdrawal 2% of $900−$18.00
FX markup 2%−$17.64
FBR 0.25%−$2.16
You keep$862.20
PKR at 280Rs 241,416

If you only subtract Upwork’s 10% and stop, you overstate take-home by about $38 on this example. That is a missed quote on a $1,000 job and a much larger miss at $5,000 a month.

Same $1,000 with no marketplace fee, same-currency USD bank withdrawal, no FBR: Payoneer keeps $1.50. You keep $998.50. The country of the bank account is the entire difference.

Payoneer fees this calculator models (January 2026)

Figures follow Payoneer’s public pricing page, last updated 1 January 2026. Fees depend on corridor, currency, and your account. This is an estimate, not a quote.

Receive

  • From another Payoneer customer: free
  • Marketplace / integrated platform: varies; Upwork and Fiverr into Payoneer are typically $0 to receive
  • Local-currency receiving account: free
  • Receiving account in a currency that is not local: 1%, minimum $1
  • Payer uses a credit card: up to 3.99% + $0.49
  • US ACH bank debit: 1%
  • PayPal (US): up to 3.99% + $0.49

Withdraw and convert

  • Bank in the same country, local / same currency, under $50,000/month: $1.50
  • Local-currency withdrawal with conversion (the Pakistani PKR case): 1.2%–4% in Payoneer’s published band, plus FX
  • Internal balance conversion: often about 0.5% above mid-market
  • Cross-currency FX markup: commonly 1–2% worse than mid-market; some corridors higher

Account

  • Low-activity annual fee can apply (commonly cited $29.95 if you stay under Payoneer’s activity threshold). This calculator does not amortize it. Add it yourself if your volume is tiny.

Always read the fee line in the Payoneer app before you confirm a withdrawal.

Pakistan: PKR bank vs JazzCash

Payoneer supports withdrawals to Pakistani banks in PKR and documents JazzCash as a local option. The global pricing page does not pin a single “Pakistan fee.” That is why every clone calculator disagrees: some use $1.50, some use 1.2%, some use 2% + a 3% FX story.

Do this instead:

  1. Make one real withdrawal.
  2. Note withdrawal fee %, the USD Payoneer used, and the PKR credited.
  3. Compare PKR to USD × Google mid-market rate. The gap is your FX markup.
  4. Type those two numbers into this calculator. From then on the math matches your corridor, not a blog.

JazzCash and wallets are often a higher percentage than a bank transfer. If you need the money the same day, price that convenience. If you can wait 1–3 business days, a bank payout is usually cheaper per dollar.

Banks commonly used by Pakistani freelancers for inward Payoneer credits include HBL, UBL, MCB, Meezan, and Standard Chartered. Your bank may also levy an inward remittance charge. Add that on top if it shows on the SMS.

Upwork and Fiverr sit in front of Payoneer

Upwork’s freelancer service fee is a separate contract between you and Upwork (0–15% depending on the client relationship). Payoneer never “includes” that number. If you hide it, the calculator becomes a toy.

Typical presets in this tool:

  • Upwork 15% — new client / high fee tier
  • Upwork 10% — the case most people mean
  • Upwork 5% — high lifetime billings with that client
  • Fiverr 20% — standard gig fee
  • Direct invoice 0% — client pays Payoneer or a receiving account

Upwork operates an official fee calculator that only does the Upwork slice. This page exists because the search “payoneer fee calculator” is the second slice, and Pakistani freelancers need both plus FX.

FBR 0.25% IT export tax

Pakistan taxes salaried income on slabs. That is a different tool. Many IT exporters and freelancers who receive foreign currency through a banking channel fall under a 0.25% final tax regime on eligible remittances, not the 11–35% salary table.

This calculator applies 0.25% after Payoneer fees so you see a take-home estimate. It does not:

  • Decide whether you are an IT exporter
  • Replace IRIS, ATL, or a consultant
  • Model AOP / business slabs if you are outside the 0.25% regime

Toggle it off if it does not apply. Toggle it on if you want a conservative net for quoting.

How to quote so fees do not eat the job

If you need $800 in the bank after a typical PKR cash-out:

Work backwards. At ~14% total drag on an Upwork 10% + PKR route, you must bill about $930 gross, not $800. Run the numbers in the widget with your real FX. Then put the gross on the Upwork proposal, not the net you wish you had.

Batch withdrawals. A 2% fee on $200 hurts more, as a habit, than the same 2% on $2,000 once a month. Same-currency $1.50 is almost irrelevant at $2,000 and painful if you withdraw $40 four times a week.

What this tool will not do

  • Live Payoneer quotes or login to your account
  • Mid-market FX from a feed — you paste the rate
  • Wise, PayPal, or direct FBR IRIS filing
  • Legal or tax advice

If Payoneer changes a corridor tomorrow, edit the percentages. The stack (platform → receive → withdraw → FX → tax) stays the same.

FAQ — use a Rank Math FAQ block, not a normal heading

Q: Does Payoneer charge to receive Upwork payments?
A: Usually no. Marketplace receive is listed as varying by marketplace; Upwork and Fiverr into Payoneer are typically $0 to receive. The first cut is Upwork’s own service fee.

Q: What is the Payoneer withdrawal fee to a Pakistani bank?
A: It is a cross-currency payout. Public pricing puts local-currency withdrawals in a 1.2%–4% band, plus an FX rate worse than mid-market. Use the percentages on your last receipt.

Q: How much does Payoneer charge on $1,000?
A: USD bank, same currency: $1.50, so $998.50. A $1,000 Upwork job cashed out to PKR is Upwork’s 10% plus withdrawal and FX on the remaining $900. Run it above with your rate.

Q: Is FBR 0.25% applied on the Payoneer balance or the PKR credit?
A: IT-export final tax is assessed on eligible foreign remittances received through a bank. This tool applies 0.25% after Payoneer fees as an estimate. Confirm current FBR rules.

Q: Are these official Payoneer quotes?
A: No. They are estimates from public pricing as of 1 January 2026. Read the fee line in the Payoneer app before you confirm.

Q: Should I use Wise instead of Payoneer?
A: For marketplace payouts, Payoneer is often the pipe Upwork already connected. For a direct client invoice, Wise is frequently cheaper on FX. This page does not replace a Wise calculator; it answers the Payoneer query people actually type.
